Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c beetroot pulp (Saved from Beet Gel Recipe)
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c heavy cream
- 7 tbsp. sugar
- 1 cardamom pod (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter has browned a bit, cook the beetroot pulp in the butter until dry.
- Add the milk, cream, sugar and cardamom (if using) and continue to cook.
- Once thickened, remove from heat.
- Serve hot or cold.
