Blue is my favourite color and I love blue colored drinks. This is a refreshing lychee drink inspired from the mocktail served at the Barbeque Nation.
Lychee is an amazing fruit, and well, one of the few fruits with a colorless pulp. And after my first lychee mocktail at the BBQ Nation, I have since attributed the color blue to Lychee.
The simpering sweetness of the lychee is cut sharply by the tang of the lime, making this mocktail a blend of perfection in a glass!
Lime ‘n’ Lychee Summer Mocktail
To make this incredibly easy yet yummy drink, you will be needing
– Fresh lychee, de-seeded and ground to a pulp, or the easier alternative, Lychee crush, bottled and available in almost every supermarket.
– Water or soda
– Juice of a fresh lime
– Sugar to taste (optional)
– A few drops of blue food color (optional)
– Cherries, whole lychee or lime wedges to garnish.
Method
That’s it! Blend away. Taste and adjust lychee, lime or sugar. Serve cold.
Note:
You can prepare this drink in advance with water(slightly strong concoction), and add a little soda just before you serve, so it’ll be all ‘nice’ and ‘bubbly’ when it reaches the table.

Yummy.. lovely drink tina..mocktails are best for summer and I being a teetotaler I try to experiment with such mocktails. I love making Guava mary with KDD harvest’s guava juice. It is just delicious.. it is apparently great as a cocktail as well… thanks for sharing this recipe!
