Instant Ramen Noodles made ‘Indian’

Ingredients

  • 2 Ramen noodles 'cake' with the taste maker
  • Water according to the packet instructions + 1/4 cup
  • 2 -3 tsp oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 capsicum (bell pepper) , chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp. Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp. Garam Masala
  • 2 -3 pinches ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • A handful of green coriander, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the Instant Ramen noodles along with the taste maker in the amount of water specified on the packet. Take care not to over cook it. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan and sauté the capsicum and onions for about a minute. Stir in the dried spices and cook till the spices are no longer raw. Add salt to taste.
  3. Add the cooked noodles along with any cooking liquid. If not, add some more water just to moisten up the noodles, to make it easier to stir.
  4. Transfer to a bowl, garnish with chopped fresh coriander and serve hot.
